Infernal TV Episode 1 – Exclusive Interview and Drum Play-Through Featuring Drummer Jordan Jensen

This episode features drummer Jordan Jensen. He is currently focusing on his solo career, but he’s best known for being the drummer of the death metal band Dark Sermon. This Infernal TV episode features an exclusive interview with Jordan, as well as a drum play-through for the Dark Sermon song “Starve.”

Jordan played in bands in the Tampa Bay area before becoming a full-time Dark Sermon member. While he was in Dark Sermon, Jordan toured countless times throughout North America. Dark Sermon both headlined and supported iconic acts such as Thy Art is Murder and Chimaira.

Along with touring, Jordan also participated in the writing process of the band’s second full-length album The Oracle.  This album allowed Dark Sermon to rise to the top of modern death metal: drum grooves mixed with heavy riffs coined Dark Sermon their signature brutal sound.

Unfortunately, Dark Sermon broke up in 2017. But Jordan Jensen is still persevering, following a career path to become a successful independent musician.

Infernal TV devoted the whole first episode to Jordan Jensen. In the interview, Jordan discusses his time in Dark Sermon and his goals of becoming known as an independent drummer. Jordan also demonstrates his skill in drumming and writing drums by performing a drum play-through for the Dark Sermon song “Starve.”

My name is Stephanie Jensen. I started my career as a music journalist five years ago. I had the idea for Infernal TV when I realized I desired more creative direction. I enjoyed working with video, so I decided to create a video-based website for metal bands.
