Shawn Knight of Child Bite Discusses Tour, Their Split with STNNNG, and the Band’s Progression

Child Bite is one of the rising bands in metal. These guys are heavy but have their own unique sound.

One of the main qualities I like about Child Bite is how unique they are. You’ll never truly hear anything like them. You can tell the band comes from a diverse musical and artistic background, which allows them to stand out from other modern metal bands.

I saw Child Bite perform for the first time when they supported the Superjoint tour. It was definitely a set I’ll never forget. All of the guys were energetic and they have great stage presence. Even though their music is chaotic, it sounded perfect. Child Bite’s live performance definitely raises the bar with live performances! I’ll definitely be at another Child Bite show!

Child Bite has a lot of great things in store. They have their split with STNNNG. And they’re expected to do more touring in the near future.

I was able to speak with Child Bite vocalist Shawn Knight while they came through State Theatre in St. Petersburg, FL on October 19. In the interview we discuss the tour, “The Will to Disappear” and the rest of the split with STNNNG, and their progression as a band.
