LA Guns Show Review (Brass Mug, 2/9/2018)

LA Guns is a band that will remain timeless. It was my first time seeing them at the Brass Mug on February 9. I’m not going to lie, LA Guns isn’t the type of music I typically listen to. But I got an invite to their show, and a couple of my best friends love them, so I figured I would go to their show and check it out. And I’m glad I did. They blew me away!

First off, the Brass Mug was packed. I had to get to the show pretty late, but not extremely late. I figured it wouldn’t be an issue and I would find a parking spot. But I was wrong! The place was so packed! I had to drive around the Mug’s parking lot around three times. And I didn’t technically park in a parking spot; there was an open area near the entrance so I parked there. With all of this Tampa support, I figured the show would be awesome!

The whole set was amazing. There was so much energy and the huge crowd went wild. So many fans cheered, danced, and sang along. I ran into a couple of friends at the show, and they all had a great time. Tracii Guns and Phil Lewis did a phenomenal job, but the whole band was outstanding. Overall, I’m glad I broadened my music interests and checked out LA guns!

My name is Stephanie Jensen. I started my career as a music journalist five years ago. I had the idea for Infernal TV when I realized I desired more creative direction. I enjoyed working with video, so I decided to create a video-based website for metal bands.
