Pessimist is one of the most underrated death metal bands. They have a fierce sound with classic brutal death metal influences, yet they’re unique in their own way. If you haven’t heard of them yet, you should pay attention to Pessimist band.

With the release of their newest album (Pessimist “Keys to the Underworld”), their most recent signing to Season of Mist, and the reissuing of their entire discography, this band is sure to take over the death metal landscape!

I was able to talk to guitarist Kelly McLauchlin. In the interview, we discuss the signing to Season of Mist records, the new Pessimist album, re-releasing their discography, and what Kelly is up to outside of Pessimist.
