Scott Carstairs of Fallujah Discusses Empyrean

On September 9, Fallujah will release its new alum Empyrean. This album combines influences from the old and new material; blistering drums and riffs merge with atmospheric elements and Tori Letzler’s angelic vocals, resulting in an album that will please both old and new Fallujah fans. And with the addition of bassist Evan Brewer and new vocalist Kyle Schaefer, Fallujah is unstoppable.

After the album’s release, Fallujah will embark on two major tours: one in North America and one in Europe. I predict that 2023 will also be a big year for these guys.

I was able to speak to Fallujah guitarist Scott Carstairs. In the interview, we discuss writing and recording Empyrean as well as Scott’s streaming.
