Miscreance Discusses Reminiscence

When Miscreance released their first album, Convergence, they revamped the classic 90s death metal sound that inspired an entire generation. But with their newest album, Reminiscence, they twist and contort that sound.

On Reminiscence, fans can expect a more experimental sound, one with tribal drums and clean singing among the thrashy riffs and rapid drumming. Miscreance has proved they’re not a copy of legendary bands, but they’re a beast on their own.

I spoke to Miscreance about Reminiscence, the new direction they’re taking, and what they can say about upcoming shows.

Stephanie Jensen

My name is Stephanie Jensen. I started my career as a music journalist five years ago. I had the idea for Infernal TV when I realized I desired more creative direction. I enjoyed working with video, so I decided to create a video-based website for metal bands.
