Infernal TV’s Top 5 Live Shows for 2018 | Infernal TV Episode 16 Pt. 2

Another year is over! 2018 was an awesome year for metal! I already reviewed the best albums of 2018. It’s time to share the best shows of the year! For anyone who knows me and Infernal TV, I love going to shows. It’s my favorite part of the music experience. It’s only fair that I share the greatest shows of the year.

The two shows that top the list are Rock Fest Barcelona and Welcome to Rockville. Rock Fest Barcelona featured some killer bands in 2018. The big name acts were Kiss, Judas Priest, and the Scorpions. I was also stoked for some of the metal bands I like, such as Insomnium and Kataklysm. Welcome to Rockville featured some of my favorite rock bands, such as Foo Fighters and Halestorm. There was also an impressive metal line-up with badass bands such as Red Fang. And, of course, legends like Ozzy!

Next up was Savage Messiah at the Sage Club, which is an obscure sex club in Berlin. After is New Long Fest in Athens, where I saw amazing Greek bands such as Need. And I couldn’t forget Goblin performing the score to one of my favorite movies, Suspiria!

Here’s to a badass 2019 filled with more awesome shows!

Here are my top 5 picks:

1. Rock Fest Barcelona — Barcelona, Spain

2. Welcome to Rockville — Jacksonville, Florida

3. Savage Messiah — Sage Club, Berlin, Germany

4. New Long Festival — Athens, Greece

5. Goblin — The Orpheum, Tampa, Florida

Honorable mentions:

6. Obscura/Beyond Creation/Archspire/Inferi — The Haven, Orlando, Florida (SOLD OUT SHOW!)

8. Kreator — Jannus Live, St. Petersburg, Florida

My name is Stephanie Jensen. I started my career as a music journalist five years ago. I had the idea for Infernal TV when I realized I desired more creative direction. I enjoyed working with video, so I decided to create a video-based website for metal bands.
