The Most Underrated Death Songs
Death is my favorite band. I don’t even know how many times I’ve listened to their music. But it’s A LOT. While Death released amazing singles, such as “Lack of Comprehension” and “The Philosopher,” there are so many amazing songs in their discography that don’t receive enough praise. Hell, there are plenty of albums that don’t receive enough praise!
Let’s start with Scream Bloody Gore. Many people talk about that album but as a debate – if it really is the first death metal album or not. But there are so many killer songs on that album, such as “Infernal Death,” “Baptized in Blood,” and “Beyond the Unholy Grave.”
Leprosy is a favorite album for fans and there are plenty of hidden gems on that album. My two favorites are “Forgotten Past” and “Choke on It.”
Spiritual Healing as a whole is underrated! My favorite song on the album is “Living Monstrosity,” but I could seriously talk about that album as a whole.
Human is one of Death’s most famous and influential albums. But I still don’t think “Together as One” gets the credibility it deserves.
There are many songs I mentioned off Individual Thought Patterns, Symbolic, and Sound of Perseverance. Overall, everyone has their favorite Death songs and it’s important to emphasize their discography as a whole.
